overview 3

With over 2000 classic vehicles and 23,000 visitors to the show, the Wroughton Classic 2007 was a fantastic success!

A big THANK YOU has just got to go out to all our friends and family that were 'volunteered' to help us with the show, Jo's brother Andy took some brilliant high level photo's (many of which can be seen on this site) and of course to Bill Marsh for all his help in the weeks before the show along with Shaun, Trevor, the ATC cadets and our amazing volunteer marshalls and helpers on the day.

overview of site

Despite being in only its second year, the extremely wide range of classic vehicles proudly exhibited by enthusiasts and newcomers to the world of classics alike, made the Wroughton Classic 2007 one of the best collections of classic cars and bikes on view in the country this year. Photo's of just some of the excellent and varied vehicles attending the 2007 show can be seen on our CLUBS and EXHIBITORS pages.

overview of site

Visitors to the 2007 show were thrilled to be a part of the making of an exciting new episode of TV Channel 4's SCRAPHEAP CHALLENGE which will be broadcast next year for all to see. There were also a wide range of trade stands and craft stalls to browse around along with an 'Aladdins cave' of parts and accessories in the growing Autojumble areas of the show. With the fine displays and workshops by the Science Museum supporting their exciting new project INSPIRE , Slot Car Racing and the Silent Grand Prix (Pedal Car Racing), there were also many things to keep the kids (and the bigger 'kids') amused too!

Then of course there were the people - those that brought along their vehicles to exhibit, those that just came to browse or admire, families, friends, enthusiasts and those that worked to bring you the show, everyone just seemed to be doing their own 'thing' but most of all, having a good time!
